Sorg på Fårö

One of the greatest directors in motion picture history died today at Fårö (a Swedish island). He was one of the first to be able to picture death, desire, madness, existentialism on screen.. and, according to me, definitely one of the best. Ingmar Bergman was 89 years old.

some update.. yesterday, as Ialready mentioned, did I have lunch with my grandma. I think she tried to get me drunk by pouring wine down my throat.. at 1 pm!! But let me explain something.. my grandma lives in Stockholm and is over 80 years old.. she loves however go shopping clothes and shoes (almost worse than me..) and to drink wine and sherry at weird occasions (weird for normal ppl, absolutely not for erasmus students..). The lunch did however end up with us 2 drinking sweet and slimy sheery.. must say that was very nice thou. In the nite were we (me and some friends) hitting "Dabaser" (http://www.debaser.se/?sid=6).. the place to be in Sthlm if you wanna hang out with rockstars and wannabes in black hair and suspenders. Maja and I saw Magnus Karlsson in Weeping Willows.. too bad that he has already reached his forties..

And what about today.. Maja slept till 3pm and got pick up by her dad short after that. I met my brother Petter and his girlfriend at "Lasse i parken!" (http://www.lasseiparken.se/) one of my absolutely favourite spots in town (close to Hornstull). The weather was lovely and we had some beers while a friend to Petter was playing on stage. Stockholm is definitely the place to be during summer. After that were we heading to a birthday party in Baggarmossen. That's it. Now some beauty sleep.. well needed after 2 days partying. Vi såg Anders Lundell på Skansen idag..

When we left at 2 the sun was shining.. Hercules was a darling like always.. Sixten was hiding somewhere.

We went to "Skansen" (http://www.skansen.se/) since Celina is working in their pharmacy during the summer. She was incredible lovely in her traditional eighteenth-century costume.. unfortunately the pic is rather blurry since you were not allowed to use flash in the cottage. With some imagination you might recognise Celina and me thou. The 2nd pic shows Maja next to a very swedish-looking house.. and yes, the sun-glasses were absolutely needed!

Some of my neighbours in Dalacaria who's gone astray in Stockholm.. poor sweethearts:-/ No, I was not enjoying the sun. Had to sit down since I had a blister on my sole which made me nearly disable.. but pain is something you better count with when you buy 10euros-shoes. Of course it's worth it.

Alone tonight since Maja was missing Ormsta-hood too much and needed to go home. I'll hug some cats instead. I actually do know that they love me, they even let me chase them .. en plus am I the one with the power since I've their food and the ability to open doors.

this is what it looks like a summers day in petter/kens/other rappers native area. the leafy surroundings and the ice lolly just makes you want to start rapping about how tough it was growing up in the hood. i feel inspired already.

later on we'll check out the cheapest/scruffiest places on söder. beer should never cost more than 25 kronor/pint anyways. and on söderkällaren you can get them with liquorice flavour! who would say no to that?

an "early" morning in Spånga

We just woke up.. maja had a terrible nightmare, she's still not over it. The plan for the day was first to go to Skansen but since Celina doesnt work there today we'll go tomorrow instead. Some beers at Söder doesnt seem too bad tho.. but first I've to found Sixten who didnt sleep home last night. xxx

Just bought this dress (Vila) for my cousins wedding, very pleased with what I found. With my golden Zara shoes and my white bag with golden stripes will it almost be perfect;-b Now some lunch.. swedish summer today.. sun, white clouds and a temp. around 20 degrees. Pics to come. Bisous!

Ps: and about uni.. I 'm accepted in Västerås (as I knew).. but Stockholm isnt sure yet.. I'll know after the 27th. I'll anyway stay in Sthlm, no matter where I'll study.

Veckans tips..

.. är att det är gratis kaffe och kaka på Moskogen i Leksand om man låsas att man är en lunchgäst. Det tycker Lotta och jag är mycket bra! Och med en digitalkamera kan man även ta alldeles för många dumma kort.. men vi är ju systrar och båda lika fåfänga;-)

.. 3,5 days in Sweden so far. It s pissin down outside but I m a big fan of rain so Im happy. Lotta with her family is comin tonite, they ll stay here for a week and then I ll join them down to Stockholm.. they are headin to Växjö for a week so I ll hav their house just on my own.. almost at least.. considering that Herkules & Sixten are mostly out.

2moro I ll get the result if I m accepted at Sthlm uni or not.. uhhh.. Jens.. hilfe! I ll get back about that later on. And yeah.. Maja is enterin the Swedish border 2moro, välkommen önskar Ormsta hockey och Garpedal.. för att inte tala om spåret, alla tks (som nu för tiden är yngre än dig) samt gästis/kvarnen..

Home Sweet Home..

.. idag kl 7 anlände vi med Stena line från Gdynia i ett översvämmat Karlskrona. Resan hem gick bara bra men Kalle och jag hade rätt trist så vi fördrev tiden med att ta ett antal kort på oss själva samt vår omgivning.. man är rätt lättroad (och trött!!)när man gått upp kl halv 6..

.. but what happened with my skipper plans? My dream was to work as a shipper in the merchant marine and I ended up with marketing! Hmm, but it's still not too late.. gonna look it over when I get back en Suède.

I'm better going to bed now, Gdynia tomorrow morning and my folks have a tendency to consider 9 am as late.. what's wrong with getting up at 12 am à la raab time?;)
