hola, maja writing for a crazy change! just returned from a month in greece/turkey but might put some pics up later. atm me and sophie are in björkhagen where we've just finished a delicious meal of veggie burger and salad called "ormsta classic" which is never complete without diet coke. just how delicious it was you'll have to see on the pics below.
we've also bought some stuff for saturdays 80s party which should be something to remember, hopefully everyone will look absolutely ridiculous! and anyone who doesnt will be ridiculed. thats all for now cos the computer is fucking up greatly.

Jag och mina fina stövlar

Träffade farmor i måndags. Ringde henne på förmiddagen då jag gått vilse i skogen vid Sickla och det visade sig att hon skulle in och titta på present till Jullan som fyller 6 år på lördag så vi bestämde att träffas. Efter att ha köpt en astuff kattmask med morrhår till Jullan fikade vi på Kulturhuset.. attans va dyrt det är där.. knappt värt det.. men gott va det måste jag ju erkänna. Daten avslutades med att farmor köpte mig ett par vinterstövlar som förtidig 25-årspresent. Jag är mer än nöjd. Jag fick en present som jag faktiskt vill ha och hon behöver inte tänka på att köpa något annat nu.. det är ju avklarat.

På tisdag och onsdag satt Carro, Karin, Jens och jag med grupparbete.. arghh.. det va frustrerande. Presentationen går av stapeln imorgon.. antingen får vi en eloge eller så kanske jag hoppar av kursen. Jag kom förresten på för ngn dag sen att jag vill bli polis.. måste vara alla dessa affischer som sitter uppsatta på bussar o tunnelbanor. Men en mix mellan marknadsförare/ekonom/polis? Men det är kanske bara pistolen som lockar men jag ska kolla upp det.. seriöst asså!

Snart ska jag iväg till min jobbarskola och lämna mina lönepapper, jag måste ha lön! Jag är fattigare än Jerome på café du theatre. CSN borde snabba sig med. Jag behöver en jacka. Vet ni förresten att den genomsnittliga kvinnan gör av med 111 handväskor under sitt liv. Det informerade Jens oss om minst 5ggr. Jag tycker det låter lite. 111 stycken asså. På tal om att köpa. Måste även köpa mat tills på lördag idag, ska träffa bloggens andra hälft vid 3 i Slussen.. hon ska bära matkassar med mig. Måste även införskaffa stora neonrosa örhängen.. och rosa ögonskugga.. och massa spray. Det blir läckert. Lotta ska vara läcker hon med. Vi är alla läckra.

Nu måste jag rusa till surrealistiska Hammarby rymdstad. Puss och kram

We watched "This is England" P and I last night. I didn't like it too much, P thought it was ok. It's all about that silly flag, the one Maja and I saw daily in Canters.

Now some rum and lime with P and two of his friends. P is very into Hemingway for the moment.

Haven't been too much writing lately since I've been fully occupied with working full-time at a school in Hammarby sjöstad just outside of Stockholm. I can also announced that I've moved as well. From now I'll spend my days watching the globe.. yes, that's the view from my window.

Tomorrow is first day at uni. Need to catch the 8-train from town to be in Västerås at time, way tot early. Cecilia is luckily coming with me.

I'm off. The sun is shining and I need to do some grocery-shopping. Take care you all! Gros bisous

wohhhha. i wanna cut my hair today.. 20-25cm. is it a good idea? just need to find someone who can do it for me. i don't pay for those things. the cable is still gone:-(

Elle est partie..

... after (I hope) a great week in Stockholm and Leksand did Virginie head back to my favourite place all over.. Chambéry. I'm just waiting to settle down there myself.

In the beginning of last week did I decide that having an exam in microecomics right now was more than I'd manage so I basically just stopped studying for it. What a relief. With the exam off did the week turn out much more agreeable. Went down to la capitale Wednesday to meet up with Virginie.. and it was sooo nice to see her after 3,5 years. We spent the 3 days in Stockholm by going to different museums , eating crêpes, avoiding some stalking french guys, drinking too expensive beer, talking about "la lune dans le caniveau" in Chambéry (my favourite bar back in the days), looking at photo exhibitions etc. Friday eve did we head up to Leksand for the weekend. On Saturday did I take her out an a small bike tour which ended up with us doing 40km.. so what, it's good exercise. Le lendemain did Kalle turn 18 years old.. still can't believe that. I was very generous thou, gave him 10 euros. Plus a card that I bought for 3 euros. Very nice of me indeed.

Anyway, it's now Wednesday.. Virginie left early yesterday morning:-/ Today mamma and I spent the day on the lake and I'm now planning to buy a boat. A sailboat. Just a small one with space just for me and my picnic. Max 100 euros. Any suggestions?

Vive les mariés!!!

so last saturday at 3 pm did my cousin get her man. the whole family was gathered for this special occasion.. and we are quite a lot, 18 cousins spread around in europe. next time we all will meet is in august next year when my other (younger!!!) cousin gets married. i also heard about another wedding in september where i'll be the brides-meid.. to be continued.

meeting my favourite french girl tomorrow, virginie came to sweden last night. looking so forward to see her and show her around. and on sunday kalle is turning 18.. oh my.. can hardly believe that.

gonna buy my tickets to dublin now, going there in november to see an old friend who i havent seen since my time in freiburg 3 years ago. miss you julene!!

Frankly, my dear..

.. I don't give a damn that the sky is grey and it's absolutely freezing outside. It's August and that means summer so I'll wear my favourite dress and pretend that the sun is shining. So here is the look of the morning! But seriously, what's wrong with the Swedish summer this year?? :-(

The plan for the day is reading one chapter in "Marknad och politik" for my exam. I'll be thrilled if I finish the first page.

principles of macroeconomics vs. nic

im very well-aware that i should actually put some more effort into my studies instead of writing here, but since the exam takes place in exactly 2 weeks do ive loads of times.. and the matter that ill be in stockholm for my sis and her husbands birthday party on saturday + XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (get back to that) on monday doesnt count. end of statement. en parlant de samedi, looking very forward for la fête and en plus ill be in charge for the music.. and jens was so kind to lent me his superduper speakers. but lotta, we ve to play some slimy swedish schlager.. as you can see above ive already put up some examples.. or lets just call it inspiration. hope you like it.

One of the greatest directors in motion picture history died today at Fårö (a Swedish island). He was one of the first to be able to picture death, desire, madness, existentialism on screen.. and, according to me, definitely one of the best. Ingmar Bergman was 89 years old.
