sorry bout the short break, everythings been too boring to write about. but now i can announce that sophie is seeing bono from U2. i dont know what he's doing in canterbury, noone really knows, but i guess its a nice break from irish poverty & depression/luxurious popstar life. i could be jealous that she's getting it off with a rockstar, but its all ok since im going to greece and will hopefully start a relationship with a piece of feta cheese. if that doesnt work out im relying on stephIE(happy?;)) to find my first true love manuso, who i met when i just turned 15... a loong time ago... hiding somewhere behind an oily tan and sunglasses. or something like the guy above.

so, even if we dont write on this blog too often our lives still goes on in canterbury. as you all know im working as a slave at eliot college and maja spends her days in our bedroom or at tesco.. or netto.

last night we went to canterbury tales (hohoh, so confusing) for some pints.. of course after 11pm since we finished at 10.30. (un)fortunately we didnt bring the digicamera since we felt ugly, it happens once in a while..

anyway, after that we had our usual food overdose, which this time contained chips and cookies (cris, we were missing u!).

so, that was the latest news.. our future plan is now to save up some money and then go travelling in august. but where? any suggestions? amil, should we come and visit you in dubai.. or mongolita in nice? and what about leksand? hmmmmmmmmm....

the hard life

the update for the day is that sophie won't be writing so much since she's now fully employed 15 hours a day for 2 pounds an hour at the university. i got offered the same position at cambridge but turned it down cos how could i possibly leave canterbury now? after all that we've been through. so i spend my days in the sun while sophie is working, as illustrated above. yep. but im not gonna tell you about that beach cos then itd get full of people and i wouldnt allow that. its near sainsburys is all i can say.

the dawning of a rockstar

we decided that canterbury was getting too pretty and nice. so we converted into satanism and heavy rock. sophie is now called "spitting dragon sophie" and im calling myself "manslaughter maja". all we do all day is to look evil and spread fear.
i'm hoping to get some guitar classes from the musical brothers we met up with last night and turn any jeff buckley song into a lordi-masterpiece. rrrrrrrr!

she got fired.. but we do like netto..

maja got fired yesterday.. are we sad? hmm, i really dont think so since she didnt like the job. but the interesting thing is why she got fired. of course there are some official reasons that i gonna list below:

1. maja was late twice during 1 month
2. i kept her company in the kitchen once but apparently that wasnt allowed for security reasons...????
3. she was asking another girl from the staff to help her out but that was against the simple simons rules.. uhuhuhuh

so, what s why she got fired..

of course that s all bullshit.. according to me.. you dont fire someone for those 3 reasons.. unless there are others.. more hidden ones. so, what ive done is to make a list of these.

1. she didnt laugh enough at the owners sexist jokes
2. she was wearing to much clothes while working
3. they saw the blog

so, no more job at simple simons BUT we are, as i said, not devastated since we probably have got an other job.. taking care of 18 years old italien-language-course-students.. let us just smile.

ok, going downtown now to buy some luxurious spirituous bottles at nette.. we love netto.

we have moved!! it was an exhausting process. while sophie was cleaning like the domestic wife she is, maja was out drinking beer. so what, i was thirsty. and she likes those cloths.
so, now we are relocated from a skanky little house to a palace, as seen on the pictures above. from now on we can live like the queens we really are.. but still on pasta with the occasional ketchup on sundays.

So what england beat poor Equador and we lost against Germany. Yeah yeah, it's all good now, the pale short-haired english chavs and pikeys are drinking beer and get to wave their hooligan-flags (you know the white one with the red cross) and England is a glorious imperialist nation all over again. But you know what, it doesn't matter. Cos we are still the best. We are more beautiful, smarter, richer, we don't have ugly carpets in our homes, and our celebrities are cooler. I mean compare the looks of an average english player like peter crouch with, say, an average swedish player like fredrik ljungberg. no further comments needed.

yesterday i was going out and i felt really goodlooking as seen on picture 1. i felt so goodlooking i made sophie take pictures of me so i could look at them later.. or put them up on the net. so why oh why does it always end up with me making out with kendoll (picture 2)? is it because he is the best guy around or simply because he can't say no? i mean he tries, but his american accent is so thick noone understands what he says anyways. and you know what its like.. u get home, ur drunk and a bit horny, u know u shouldnt but he's just available..
anyways.. that's the mystery of the day.. im gonna be thinking about it while i pretend to work.

how to support sweden or who s the most glamorous girl?

sweden is meeting germany in the world cup tomorrow. this is really a big event for me and maja since we then are allowed to wear our sexy swedish t-shirts. maja is gonna wear her yellow thing while working at simple simons and i gonna wear mine sitting alone in winnies room watching the game.. that s how the swedes do it. but when i think about it, i d rather sit in front of the computer fighting spywares and play games... but arent they both games?

so, what are we up for tonight. since maja is working with grief in her heart (since landon is dead) i thought about getting her and myself drunk.. most likely a portugese guy and a spanish lad gonna join us.. so the evening has potential to be good. but i wonder what amil is doing? are you coming with us? we can go to the loft 3rd night in a row and look at the couples there!

yesterday we were quite bored (hungover) so we finished the evening by going through sophie's wardrobe. she has a very unhealthy addiction to spending her student loan on fashionable clothes a la H&M, so we thought we'd transform ourselves into real life models and then send the pictures directly to the H&M administration - how could they resist?!

So, on picture nr 1: we see sophie trying out an expensive brown top with a belt that's very a la mode and make your waist literally disappear, woho! this outfit would however be very boring if it wasn't for the pink cape that just adds that extra little.. something. i give it 7/10.

picture nr 2: no, sophie, no!! that's not what a model is meant to look like! sure, you got the glasses right, and the necklace isn't bad, but is that meant to be a smile? model's are not meant to look like dinosaurs. i am terribly sorry, i give you a feeble 1/10.

picture nr 3: yes!! there we got it! suck in the chest, out with the boobs, and the top is lovely and would make ebba von sydow smile with her vacant bimbo head. how did you get 3 metres tall? i'm not quite sure but it's essential for any model. 10/10, at the least.

how old are u?

soo.. another sunny day in sweet canterbury. maja is sleeping, a result from drinking beer until 3 am with amil and talking to guys who are at the very least 10 years younger then us. however, since the kiddos were cute we took their numbers.. we can always baby-sit them later this summer. myspysgulligt!

maja was late for the 2nd time to work yesterday, tyler was mad, but maja doesnt give a fuck about that. maja is always late, it s one of her most distinguishing feature. im never late even if i try and i also dont have hangovers as maja, maybe that s because im younger.. but of course not as young as the kidddos. they are probably always on time and they never have hangovers.. now i like them even more. by the way, tyler is silly.. and old.

now im going to la fack, have to print out my CV and since yesterday im fluent in german. (go sweden go, kick the asses of the germans.. achtung!). maja is still sleeping but i gonna tell her that michael landon is standing on the street, we like him.. even if he s old (dead?).
